Heat Treating
Heat treating is one of the most difficult forms of metal treating and even after employing all the scientific methods known today, hazards still remain. Most metal treating requires a large amount of energy and equipment that is difficult to maintain in-house. For this reason almost all of our metal treating is done by outside sources. Some types of heat treating we contract to have performed on parts are annealing, normalizing, hardening, and case hardening. These are the most common of practices and done by a large number of companies in the area.
